| Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Justice For All A Review by Isaiah Olson With the second installment of his game series, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney rises again, and presses through into our DSes and ultimately, our hearts. The second time around, Phoenix brings back pretty much everything we loved about the first game, and introduces a few new things which only help strengthen the enjoyment presented by this unique genre of courtroom simulation.

| An Early Death for Today's Consoles An Editorial by Steve Mischler I An overlooked issue in the gaming world right now is current gaming machines, machines we have become very accustomed to, are being phased out. This sort of thing happens every few years. Developers can only develop games for game consoles for so long before the technology advances and a new machine is released. The problem this current generation is facing is the lack of a proper ‘death’.

| Skies of Arcadia Dreamcast review by Isaiah Olson It can be concluded that if a developer has any intention of making an RPG that will be successful, it's got to bring a few things to the table. It should be creative, visually appealing, considerably difficult but not impossible, include an interesting and likeable cast of characters, and most importantly, it should have a compelling storyline. Throw in some side quests, puzzles, and considerable degree of customability, and you've got yourself a winner. Well folks, the people at Overworks have definately crafted us a winner.

more... | | Half Life 2: Lost Coast PC review by Mark Gleim It is becoming increasingly clear that Valve, to put it simply, knows how to do things right. Their latest release, a new single-player level for Half Life 2 called Lost Coast, showcases not only the addition of HDR lighting to their already very powerful Source engine, but also an extraordinary sense of design.

It was a game that introduced the idea of a weapon capable of launching a nuclear strike, and its story was one of deception. It is also considered a very hard game by many. Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake was released in 1990, but was never released in the United States.

Knowing that this was a game from the same people who brought us Knights of the Old Republic, I ended up with something I didn't exactly expect, but enjoyed thoroughly.
more... | | Preventing Industrial Suicide Editorial by Mark Gleim The only thing more frustrating than a bourgeois superpower stifling a promising artistic medium is a bourgeois superpower stifling the promising artistic medium you intend to make a living out of.
more... | | Half-Life 2 PC review by Zach Besaw Valve's Half Life 2 brings some new things to the First Person Shooter genre. In this sequel to the famous Half Life, you play (obviously) as Gordon Freeman. Gordon was a physicist employed at the Black Mesa researched facility, until something went terribly wrong. But that's Half Life, and this is a Half Life 2 review. It all starts off when Gordon is awoken by G-Man, his new ‘employer.' G-Man informs him that it is time, once again, to save the world.
more... | | Nintendo's Revolution Editorial by Steve Mischler A lot of people believe there isn't much to say about this console. Sure there's barely any information on the damn thing, but I believe that there is plenty to say about the little guy.
